General Summary:
The Senior Analyst supports strategic merchandising initiatives by providing support and insights that drive decision-making and operational efficiency. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to organize, plan, and recommend solutions that optimize merchandising strategies and execution.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to planograms, fixtures, items, stores, and labor
- Assist in planning and tracking merchandising projects by preparing reports, dashboards, and status updates for leadership
- Identify and collaborate cross-functional partners per project specifications
- Partner with the execution team to resolve issues during rollout and implementation phases
- Support test-and-learn initiatives by validating data accuracy, measuring outcomes, and recommending adjustments for future deployments
- Budget management to include invoice processing, accruals, and monthly tracking
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with project management/reporting tools preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Background in finance or budget management
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, or related field required (work experience may substitute)
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics, preferably in retail or merchandising environments
