Dolce & Gabbana Beauty is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the Makeup & Skincare category in the US. As a key partner, you will work closely with the US Makeup Brand Director to analyze business performance, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making. Based in Miami, this position within the US area will focus on analytics, reporting, and performance tracking for the DG Beauty brand within our key retailers. This role will support the Brand Director in evaluating business results, identifying opportunities, and activating key performance drivers.
Main Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze Makeup & Skincare business performance with a strong focus on KPIs, sell-out, and retailer performance.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly analytical reports, providing clear insights on gaps, opportunities, and performance by retailers.
- Track and analyze product launch performance across accounts, generating actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
Performance Tracking & Forecasting
- Monitor and report monthly targets, sell-out performance, stock levels, and inventory health.
- Support forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment between financial targets and commercial performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct competitive research and analyze market trends to identify risks and opportunities within the Makeup & Skincare category.
- Perform pricing and performance analysis to support market positioning and business optimization.
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Planning, and Supply teams to support business reviews and performance discussions.
- Provide analytical support for commercial initiatives, launches, and retailer-specific actions.
- Support inventory tracking and distribution analysis, gathering insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- · Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong data handling and reporting skills required. Power BI is a plus.
- At least 3–4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Commercial Analysis, or similar analytical roles.
- Experience supporting Makeup and/or Skincare categories within the luxury or beauty industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
