What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/cashier position at Dolce Amar Sweets To love?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, cortados, customed drinks
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register and touch bistro POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations. The applicant must be conformable in talking to customers and create a sense of ease.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating area
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with assembling of boxes, teas, coffee
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Experience:
-Experience as a barista of at least one year is needed in order to apply for this position
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Familiarity with POS
- Basic math skills for retail transactions and inventory management
- Passion for coffee and strong knowledge of different coffee brewing methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
