Dolan Mazda/Kia Reconditioning Technician

Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Reconditioning Technician to perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform used car inspection, including test drive, and prepare an estimate.
• Performs repairs and QC checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, tires, etc.
• Use Rapid Recon for workflow
• Use Alldata and or Identifix to aid in diagnosis and vehicle repairs.
• Ensure accuracy of parts requests, inspection forms and recon related documents.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive body movement such as squatting, twisting, kneeling, bending, stooping, fast paced walking and light jogging when necessary.
• Lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds without assistance at various times.
• Exposure to weather, where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered.
