Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, specializing in water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation. This role involves working on-site to restore properties affected by various types of damage, ensuring that they are cleaned, repaired, and restored to their original condition. Duties
- Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction and drying of affected areas.
- Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from properties.
- Execute fire restoration tasks, including working with clients and insurance adjusters.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during restoration projects.
- On Call - Ability to respond after hours for emergency calls.
- The position offers a bonus compensation.
- Assist with mold / asbestos abatement when required, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective restoration plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restoration industry and obtaining IICRC certifications is preferred.
- Knowledge of mold remediation techniques, water damage restoration methods, fire restoration practices, and carpet cleaning is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials or standing for extended periods.
