Dohrn is seeking a full‑time HR Supervisor to help lead our Human Resources department at our corporate office in Rock Island, IL. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee companywide investigations and ensure consistent, compliant handling of employee relations issues.
- Manage attendance and discipline in alignment with Dohrn policies.
- Support, mentor, and help lead a small HR team at the corporate office.
- Partner with leadership to maintain a positive, productive workplace culture.
- Ensure HR processes are organized, timely, and aligned with company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with UKG, Workforce Management (WFM) systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Valid Driver License
- 2 year degree and 2 years’ experience in Business, HR or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent data entry and typing skills preferred
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment
- Excellent attendance
- Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time
- May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc;
- Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
- Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others
