Process Engineer

We are seeking candidates for a Process Engineer role. Compensation for this contract opportunity ranges between $35.00-$65.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Process Engineer:

• Develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes to ensure repeatability, quality, and cost effectiveness
• Lead equipment upgrades and new equipment installations, including planning, qualification, and validation
• Troubleshoot production issues on the manufacturing floor and implement long-term corrective actions
• Apply Lean, DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma tools to improve quality, efficiency, and scrap/cost performance
• Support new product launches by designing processes, implementing process controls, and collaborating on tooling and fixtures
• Create, update, and maintain process documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and standards
• Manage and lead cross-functional projects to implement process improvements and enhance manufacturability
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate progress, issues, and project status to stakeholders

What you need to be a Process Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field) preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process or manufacturing engineering
• Proficiency with MS Office and 3D CAD tools (such as Creo or AutoCAD); familiarity with ERP systems
• Working knowledge of statistics, DOE, SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to analyze data and drive root-cause solutions
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create technical documentation
• Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and lead cross-functional projects or initiatives
• Ability to work safely, follow company policies, travel as needed, and adapt to changing priorities and technologies
