The hiring process is simple and streamlined, and qualified candidates may have the opportunity to start as soon as next week. What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Operator:
- Set up and operate manufacturing equipment including punch press, press brake, and turret machines
- Assemble components and finished goods using various production methods
- Install, adjust, and align tooling and equipment for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues as needed
- Perform inspections using measuring tools to ensure product quality
- Handle materials and load or unload machines to maintain production flow
- Complete production documentation and maintain a clean, safe work environment
What You Need to Bring to the Manufacturing Operator Role:
- At least 6 months of experience operating machines, equipment, or production lines in any manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, printing, food production, woodworking, construction, assembly, or industrial environment preferred
- Experience operating any type of machinery or equipment is encouraged and will be considered
- Must be able to work with blueprints, work instructions, and production documents
- Must have basic math and measurement skills
- Must be comfortable using hand and power tools and also measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, or gauges
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machines and processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
