Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Plumber / Project Manager to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for an experienced plumber who is looking to broaden their responsibilities and contribute to projects from both a hands-on and leadership perspective. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing both the technical aspects of plumbing work and the coordination of residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Plumbing Responsibilities (Primary Role):
- Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and system upgrades for new residential construction, remodels, and additions
- Install and service water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and appliances
- Interpret blueprints, specs, and building plans to determine plumbing layouts
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds local codes and industry standards
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues on job sites and provide effective solutions
- Collaborate with other trades to maintain workflow and project timelines
- Follow local guidelines for obtaining a permit
Project Management Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing residential construction projects
- Schedule inspections, coordinate subcontractors, and communicate with clients as needed
- Monitor job site progress, quality, and safety
- Help ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
- Work with leadership to resolve issues and maintain high-quality standards
- Document project updates, budget considerations, and material needs
Qualifications:
- Active state plumbing license (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in residential plumbing; high-end construction experience a plus
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and best practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience or interest in project management
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with Electrical and HVAC is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team
