Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial / industrial buildings, typically focusing on new construction
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and malfunctioning fixtures
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes and drainage systems
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on-site
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform inspections to identify issues and provide solutions
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, or be on-call as needed
Qualification requirements:
- Valid and current Journeyman or Master Plumber license in North Carolina.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read and understand English.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and varying environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, dusty).
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Visual acuity to read blueprints, inspect pipes, and perform detailed work.
- Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.
