Bring your dog to work? That’s right! Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an opening for an energetic, organized individual that will be the star of the playroom - the Canine Coach/Rover. This position will be cross-trained as a Canine Coach and Rover.
We are looking for fun, positive, and organized, individuals who LOVE dogs to add to our team!

Job Requirements:
- Supervise Playrooms, must be able to be stand for hours at a time.
- Maintain Control of a large group of open play dogs
- Continuously walk the room to reward positive behaviors & redirect escalated play. Must be able to stay engaged with the dogs in the room throughout the day.
- Quickly address behavioral issues without the use of force or physical punishment
- Engage in stimulating, fun, educational activities and games with the dogs
- Attend to any dogs with special needs. Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Educate dogs by teaching them to follow basic commands such as sit, down, and stay
- Keep playroom clean at all times
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments to maintain a safe, and clean play and work environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Give spa services to all sizes of dogs : baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, & teeth brushing

Qualifications:
- Must LOVE dogs!
- Ability to spend up to 100% of your work shift standing
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Have the availability to work flexible days and hours including some holidays and weekends
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Must be able to pass a background check
