What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Hot Dog Depot?
This is a new role for our company. We’re looking for someone who can come in and be an active contributor to our growing brand. With recently opening a second location, we need someone who can support the General Manager with day-to-day operations, to include scheduling, inventory, hiring, training, and general customer service. We’re also interested in hiring someone who can help with improving efficiencies by reducing ticket times while maintaining food quality and volume. There is opportunity to grow with us.
What you will do :
- Be the primary source of decision-making when the GM is not present (GM and owners are easily accessible at any time so you are not alone)
- Manage shift leads, helping us establish a clear hierarchy and standards
- Learn and be able to teach all positions
- This is a working leadership position, so you will be expected to fill positions of need that may change each day while you support the GM
- Ensure there is a clean and safe working environment

Requirements :
Ability to give and take direction in a respectful manner.
Ability to read recipes and memorize and replicate food production procedures.
Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
Skill and coordination with kitchen utensils and equipment.
Experience in a commercial kitchen.
ServSafe certification.
Salary : $16 - $20
