Job Summary
About the role:
The Parent Relations Manager is the person who turns curious pet parents into Dogtopia families. You’ll own the front end of our sales process across two locations: responding to new leads, booking and following up on Meet & Greets, building community partnerships, and coaching our front desk team to convert more tours into memberships. If you love dogs, light up when you talk to people, and can’t stand a lead slipping through the cracks, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Lead our lead generation, follow-up, and conversion efforts for both locations Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, apartment complexes, and veterinary clinics Plan and run outreach campaigns and community events (at least 6 during warm-weather months and 4 during colder months) Train and coach our front desk team on tours, follow-up, and closing Create call flows, sales tools, and messaging that we use consistently at both locations Track weekly conversion numbers and report to District Manager and ownership with insights and plans for improvement. Keep both locations’ social media channels active with on-brand content Attend bi-weekly Level 10 meetings, Shift lead meetings, plus quarterly and annual management meetings. What we’re looking for
- A genuine love of dogs (and the people who love them) Strong customer service experience, including warm, professional communication in person, by phone, and in writing Sales experience or a natural comfort with it, including following up, asking for the sale, and not taking “not yet” as “no” Excellent organization and follow-through. You’ll be juggling leads, events, and partners across two locations Comfort tracking numbers and using them to improve results Willingness to coach and train others Reliable transportation for travel between our Golden Valley and Bloomington locations Availability for some nights and weekends
Compensation & benefits
- $42,000 per year, plus commission and bonuses Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Complimentary daycare and boarding for your own dog
Schedule: Full-time, 40 to 50 hours per week, including nights and some weekends as needed.
