The IT Training & User Support Specialist leads technology training and user enablement across Dogs Inc. This role is responsible for designing and delivering structured learning programs that build proficiency in core systems and productivity tools.
In partnership with the Online Prep Lab team and the System Administrator, this position owns the ongoing development of an IT training curriculum aligned with organizational growth, operational needs, and security best practices. By strengthening technology literacy across campus, this role ensures pack members use tools efficiently, securely, and confidently.
This position also provides day-to-day user support to reinforce learning and maintain operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training for Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and other core systems.
- Develop structured learning paths based on role and skill level.
- Create practical learning materials, including guides, job aids, workshops, and short video content.
- Provide 1-on-1 coaching to improve user confidence and capability.
- Identify recurring knowledge gaps and implement targeted training solutions.
- Measure training effectiveness and refine curriculum based on feedback and outcomes.
- Promote secure and effective technology use aligned with organizational policies and best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and pack members, translating technical concepts into practical application.
- Provide support for hardware, software, and account-related issues.
- Manage and resolve service tickets in a timely, professional manner.
- Document recurring issues to inform future training initiatives.
- Experience developing and delivering structured user training (in-person and virtual).
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly instruction.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- At least two years of experience in an information technology support role.
- Familiarity with current generative AI tools and their practical application in workplace productivity.
- CompTIA A and Network certifications preferred.

This position works primarily in an office and administrative setting, supporting pack members across campus. The environment is professional, fast-paced, and mission-driven, with frequent interaction with operational teams. Because our work centers on extraordinary dogs, this role will regularly see and engage with dogs throughout the day, especially when supporting instructors and canine training staff. Flexibility, comfort around dogs, and the ability to shift between focused computer work and in-person support are essential.
