Doggy Dash Grooming Company is opening a new salon in Sterling Heights and is hiring skilled groomers who take pride in clean consistent work and solid client communication.
We focus on reliable, high-quality grooming with modern equipment and a straightforward scheduling system that allow the groomer to view their schedule remotely from our app. If you want steady work in a growing shop and enjoy working with dogs of all sizes, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Complete full grooms: bath, brush, trim, and style according to breed standards or client requests (we will have a tech on staff to assist groomers)
- Handle dogs safely and calmly, including those that are nervous or energetic
- Keep you station, tools, and work area clean between dogs
- Talk with owners about their dog's coat, any issues you notice, and basic aftercare
- Help with check-in/check-out flow when needed
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience grooming dogs
- Ability to work efficiently while keeping dogs comfortable
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, lifting, bending)
- Friendly and clear communication with pet owners
- Reliable and able to follow a schedule
Pay & Details
$23-$31 per hour (based on experience, speed and quality of work)
