About the role
We are looking for a reliable, upbeat team member who can work mornings and wants to help dogs become calmer and more confident through structure, exercise, and consistent leadership. Daycare here is not free play. It is trainer-led and behavior-focused. You will help dogs practice place, calm greetings, structured walks, and steady routines, and you will be part of a team that takes that work seriously.
What you will do
- Support morning daycare with calm, consistent handling and clear expectations
- Lead or assist structured walks, place work, and feeding routines
- Watch dogs closely and report changes in behavior, energy, or health right away
- Keep play areas, yards, and kennel spaces clean, safe, and ready for the next group
- Help with morning arrivals and clear communication with pet parents
- Follow the training plan set by leadership and apply the same standards every shift
- Pitch in on special events and refresher camps as needed
What we are looking for
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be 18 or older to apply
- Must be able to work mornings
- Comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels
- Able to stand, walk, lift, and stay on your feet for a shift, including time outdoors
- Reliable, punctual, and steady under a busy morning schedule
- A calm presence and a willingness to learn our methods
- Clear communication and a team-first attitude
Experience with dogs is welcome. A teachable attitude and follow-through matter more.
