Role Description
This part-time, on-site Dog Handler role is based in Northbrook, IL. Full-time may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities include supervising play groups of dogs to ensure their safety and well-being during playtime, monitoring their behavior, cleaning up after them and general facility cleaning tasks. Our Dog Handlers work in teams to care collaboratively for the dogs, so strong communciate skills and a positive attitude are a must!
Qualifications
Strongly preferred:
- Experience in Animal Care and Pet Care
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with team members and pet owners
- Ability to work in a physically active role and handle dogs of various sizes and breeds (expect 4 hours on your feet & to occasionally lift 40-50 lbs)
- Genuine love and enthusiasm for dogs
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
