Spend all day with dogs while earning experience and skills for the animal field.
We are a doggy training, group play daycare/ boarding, grooming, hiking, petsitting, and swimming facility looking for compassionate people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. Job responsibilities include monitoring dogs during group play, one-on-one playtimes, one-on-one hugs and cuddles, walks, bathing, assisting trainers, feeding/watering, cleaning, and other odd jobs (such as taking pictures for social media, etc.).
Because we began as a training facility over 30years ago, we have a focus on dog training; reading, and interpreting canine body language. We cultivate a constant learning environment and offer a Training Internship for those with the initiative and interest in becoming a dog trainer, and a Grooming Apprenticeship for those interested in becomming professional dog groomers. Every position in the facility, from Administration to Swim Instructor, begins with time spent in the kennel as a Dog Handler.
We are staffed 24/7; We are looking for people who can work 3:00pm-11:00pm and weekend shifts.
Must be a team player , we are a team based company, and we consider ourselves friends and family.
Must be able to lift 40lbs
Must have a reliable means of transportation
Must live within a reasonable distance to commute
Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays
Experience is preferred, but not required for the right person
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
