At Benny’s Backyard in Wilton, CT, we’re not a traditional kennel — we’re a boutique dog daycare and dog boarding facility built around Happy Days and Cozy Nights for every pup.
We’re growing and looking for a reliable, caring, and dog-loving team member to join our team!
What We’re Looking For
- A true dog lover (our #1 requirement ❤️)
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities
- Strong communication skills with both team members and pet parents
- Proactive, attentive, and able to read dog behavior
- Able to safely lift and handle dogs when needed
- Extremely reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and a team player
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with dogs in dog daycare and dog boarding environments
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured play environment
- Monitor group play and ensure proper dog socialization
- Assist with feeding, cleaning, and daily pet care routines
- Support kennel operations, sanitation, and organization
- Communicate updates clearly with staff and clients
✅ Requirements
- Weekend availability as needed
- Experience in dog daycare, pet care, kennel assistant, veterinary assistant, or animal care is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business
Pay & Schedule
- $16.94 – $19 per hour, based on experience
- Part-time / Full-time opportunities available
