Grader Operator
Compensation: Beginning at $26.00 Hourly
Position Summary:
The Grader Operator is responsible for operating motor graders to maintain and repair public roads, especially gravel and dirt surfaces. This role is essential for ensuring safe and passable roadways across rural and municipal areas.
Preferred Talents:
- Experience operating heavy equipment, especially motor graders.
- Knowledge of road maintenance standards, drainage principles, and gravel compaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage a designated route or district.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment upkeep.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Truck Driver
Compensation: Beginning at $23.00 Hourly
Position Summary:
The Truck Driver operates heavy vehicles to support public works, road maintenance, and infrastructure projects. They handle transportation of materials, equipment, and perform basic vehicle upkeep.
Preferred Talents:
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to operate manual transmissions and specialized equipment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and work in outdoor conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of light and heavy trucks and automotive equipment; or a combination of training and experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), often Class A or B depending on vehicle type.
