Dodge Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Highway Department, you will be responsible for managing inventory records, processing fuel usage transactions, and coordinating receipt of deliveries.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position with a starting wage range of $22.70/hr - $24.97/hr. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides customer service to internal and external customers
• Sorts, copies, and distributes correspondence, deliveries, and mail
• Composes routine correspondence and proofreads documents
• Maintains electronic and paper filing systems
• Enters, scans, updates, and maintains information in spreadsheets, databases, and reports
• Manages inventory records daily
• Enters/imports fuel usage transactions and monitors fuel levels
• Coordinates purchases of highway materials and supplies
• Reconciles delivery/pickup tickets for materials to invoices
• Receives inventory into the DOT reporting system and ERP via invoices
• Enters Accounts Payable invoices into the DOT reporting system and ERP
• Assists other Department personnel during peak periods or absences
Requirements:
• Ability to establish and maintain accurate records of assigned activities and operations
• Ability to interpret and implement local policies and procedures
• Skill in organizational and time management to prioritize duties
• Ability to perform detailed work accurately and independently
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to stressful situations
• Knowledge of current office practices and procedures
• Knowledge of computer software applications consistent for this position
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English in both written and verbal form
