With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and practical guidance on data governance across Docusign (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing, IT, etc) to ensure compliance with company standards and global laws governing privacy, consent management, data use and protection
- Guide and advise on applicable data governance best practices, laws, and regulations, including the implementation of the data governance program and assisting in drafting of company policies
- Provide timely legal advice on privacy, AI, and data protection issues, ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy laws (GDPR, CPRA) and other emerging regulatory frameworks
- Support cross-functional efforts to create and improve product and organizational data governance, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks for managing valuable data throughout its lifecycle, including promoting the ethical and legal use of data to manage legal, operational, and reputational risk
Salary : $140,000 - $225,000
