What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse position at Document Solutions Inc?
Document Solutions, a family owned business, is hiring for the entry level position of Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant. As our delivery driver you will be responsible for transporting packages and other goods from our Cumberland facility to a personal or business address in the Quad State area. Duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address, delivering parcels to the correct address and obtaining a signature from the customer to verify delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license, and cleaning driving record.
- Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionaly.
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo up to 50lbs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport packages to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups, delivery paperwork
- Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route
- Interact with clients professionally at all times
- Maintain comapny vehicle cleaniliness
- Report company vehicle maintenance issues to Service Director as needed
- Miscellanous warehouse/facility duties as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.25 per hour
