Physician Liaison – Interventional Radiology
Location: Pasadena/Houston, Texas (Travel to referring medical offices required)
Practice: Minimally Invasive Specialists of Texas (MIST)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and professional Physician Liaison to serve as the primary relationship manager between our interventional radiology practice and referring physicians, clinics, and healthcare providers. The liaison will focus on building and strengthening referral networks, increasing awareness of our advanced minimally invasive procedures, and ensuring a seamless communication channel between our practice and the referring community.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with referring physicians, medical practices, and office staff.
- Act as the point of contact for referral sources, addressing questions and facilitating communication with our clinical team.
- Outreach & Marketing:
- Travel to physician offices across the region to educate providers and staff about our services.
- Promote key procedures, including:
- Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) treatment
- Venous Insufficiency treatment
- Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE)
- Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
- Organize and deliver presentations, lunch-and-learns, and other educational events.
- Growth & Strategy:
- Identify new referral opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Collaborate with practice leadership to develop and implement referral growth strategies.
- Track referral trends and provide feedback on outreach efforts.
- Support & Coordination:
- Assist referring offices with scheduling, referral processes, and patient information flow.
- Ensure a high level of customer service for all referring providers and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in medical sales, physician liaison, pharmaceutical/medical device representation, or healthcare marketing strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and ability to interact confidently with physicians and office staff.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel regionally on a regular basis.
