Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for the overall upkeep, appearance, and functionality of our property and inn buildings. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable performing a variety of maintenance and groundskeeping tasks throughout all seasons.
Key Responsibilities
Grounds & Lawn Care
- Maintain lawns, landscaping, flower beds, and outdoor areas year-round
- Mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, and fertilizing as needed
- Leaf removal and general property cleanup
- Work with contractors for bigger projects
Seasonal Winter Duties
- Snow removal using snow blower and shoveling walkways, driveways, and entrances
- Salting and ice management to ensure safe conditions
Building Maintenance & Repairs
- Interior and exterior painting of inn buildings
- Basic plumbing repairs (sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.)
- Minor carpentry, drywall repair, and general handyman tasks
- Minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs (as qualified)
- Inspecting and maintaining building systems and fixtures
General Property Upkeep
- Perform routine inspections of the property and buildings
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Keep all tools, equipment, and work areas organized and clean
- Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as needed to support property operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, and general property maintenance
- Basic skills in painting, plumbing, and minor repairs
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, snow blowers, trimmers, and other power equipment safely
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, attractive property
