Project Manager

DOC Services, Inc.
Fort Mill, SC Full Time
POSTED ON 9/13/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/12/2026
Description

At DOC SERVICES, we perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of electromechanical equipment inside big box retail stores. With over 35 years of experience servicing over 1500 stores across the US our full certified technicians provide our customers with support and repair solutions designed to extend the life of their equipment, reducing down time and minimizing the impact of our customers’ bottom line.

The Project Manager runs the day-to-day delivery of one of DOC Services' national inspection programs and supports other projects across our portfolio. You'll keep schedules on track, make sure client reports are accurate and on time, and serve as the main point of contact for the client's project team — working closely with Project Management, Field Service leadership, and support teams to keep field work aligned with client expectations, safety standards, and budget.

  • Lead Project Delivery: Build and maintain the master schedule, group sites into efficient regional routes, and keep projects moving to on-time completion.
  • Review Findings Reports: Review each findings report before it reaches the client to ensure accuracy, so the right parts get ordered the first time.
  • Meet Service Level Commitments: Track performance against contracted service levels (turnaround, completeness, schedule adherence) and get ahead of trends early.
  • Keep Project Data Clean: Make sure site, location, and part-level data is complete and correct so sites are never closed out with gaps.
  • Escalate Safety Concerns: Immediately escalate any unsafe rack conditions — notify store management, document the area, and issue a written critical-finding notice.
  • Confirm Crew Qualifications: Verify technicians hold required certifications before billable work and keep training records current for client audits.
  • Be the Client's Project Contact: Run status calls, manage escalations, and turn field activity into clear updates for clients and DOC leadership.
  • Plan Scheduling & Crew Deployment: Partner with Field Service leadership to assign crews to efficient regional routes, with buffer for weather or availability.
  • Coordinate Materials & Site Access: Work with Project Support and permit coordinators to confirm materials, site access, and permits before crews mobilize.
  • Watch Project Financials: Manage projects to their pricing model, focus on route density and first-visit completion, and flag margin concerns early.
  • Support Other Projects: Carry a rotating mix of smaller projects, retrofits, surveys, and program support work.
  • Coach Field Teams: Help technicians and field leads grow their skills and documentation quality, sharing feedback with Field Service leadership
