Job Overview
Join the DOC DASH® team and help redefine road-safety education across Missouri! We’re seeking energetic facilitators to deliver 90-minute, interactive workshops to high school juniors and seniors throughout St. Louis City and County. In this role, you’ll guide thought-provoking conversations on accountability, effective engagement styles, respect for traffic laws, and preparedness during roadside emergencies.
This position is ideal for substitute teachers, youth mentors, and anyone passionate about empowering students with real-world safety skills.
Pay: $20/hour (≈ $90 per day for 3 workshops)
Schedule: Flexible daytime hours
Training: Paid training provided
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate three 90-minute workshops per day using the DOC DASH® curriculum during school hours
- Lead engaging discussions, role-plays, and reflection activities that build communication, decision-making, and emotional intelligence
- Coordinate schedules with school administrators and manage student sign-ins and feedback forms
- Represent DOC DASH® and OTEKA Solutions with professionalism, empathy, cultural awareness, and a commitment to safety
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Missouri Substitute Teacher Certification (strongly preferred)
- Prior experience facilitating, mentoring, or teaching youth (preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom-management skills
- Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable engaging diverse student groups
- Must pass background screening (FBI Family Care Safety Registry)
