What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookeeper position at Doc Burnsteins Ice Cream Lab Inc?
Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab is seeking a full-time (30-40 hours/week) employee. This position is responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping functions of the company, and is located in Grover Beach, California.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions
• Tracking & preparing cash flow
• Processing invoices and paying bills – includes accurate data entry
• Creating and managing vendor accounts
• Reconciling financial accounts monthly and yearly
• Responding to inquiries from vendors regarding all accounts
• Submitting payroll online for all company employees
• General Duties: answering phones, message management, running daily errands (includes post office & banks), stocking and ordering of supplies, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED
• Experience in AP, AR, and records management preferred
• Expertise in QuickBooks accounting software (MAC & Windows)
• MAC based operating systems with occasional Windows.
• General computer fluency, including competence in basic software and ability to learn new programs quickly
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Proven multi-tasking capability
• Ability to adapt to changes
