Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook items according to specification/recipe.
- Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO & CO standard.
- Lead by example, preparing and cooking dishes.
- Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
- Maintain work areas clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
- Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preferably with large production volume.
- Certificate in culinary arts, or relevant field a plus.
- Knowledge of ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and cooking times.
- A fulltime cook who is energetic, hard-working, organized, and familiar with working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
