- Bake and prepare pastry items according to specifications and recipes.
- Monitor product wastage and complete assigned tasks across multiple stations within deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the immediate work area at all times.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations outlined in the food safety management system.
- Report any food safety-related concerns to the manager or hygiene/food safety team.
- Ensure adequate supply levels at the cooking stations.
- Store ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
- Follow the direction of the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment.
- Support in staff training and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pastry or Bakery, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Solid knowledge of baking ingredients, measuring techniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and baking times.
- Proactive and highly organized.
- Ability to manage a substantial workload effectively.
- Works independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Able to complete tasks within tight deadlines.
- Accurately monitor and control wastage.
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
