BIM Modeler

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our Midland, TX team and support our growing portfolio of projects. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination, clash detection, and accurate modeling for civil and site development projects. You’ll work on innovative, high-profile projects, including mission-critical and data center developments, while growing your career in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has field survey and GPS experience, as well as BIM modeling experience for data center development.  

This position is on-site with overtime opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain 3D models for civil site development projects, including earthwork, grading, utilities, paving, and retaining walls, using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, or similar software.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM tools to identify and resolve conflicts between disciplines (e.g., utilities, grading, and structural).
• Work closely with project managers, estimators, engineers, and field teams to ensure models meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Incorporate survey data, topography, and design plans into BIM workflows to produce accurate models.
• Generate construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built models from BIM data.
• Ensure all models adhere to company BIM standards, project-specific requirements, and industry best practices.
• Stay current with advancements in BIM software and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in civil/site development or infrastructure projects.
• Survey field experience utilizing GPS with a strong understanding of construction staking, layout, boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects is a plus.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with Trimble Business Center, Carlson, AGTEK, or other civil design tools is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and site development processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Physical & Work Environment:

• Combination of office and jobsite environments.
• Occasional travel to project sites across Texas.
• Ability to attend coordination meetings and jobsite walks.
• May require extended computer use and viewing of technical drawings.
