Production Team Lead - Day Shift

Day Shift: 12-hour Schedule - 6 AM - 6 PM (2-2-3 Rotation)

What You’ll Do:

• Lead approx. 40 individuals to meet daily goals, working closely with your direct supervisor.
• Record and report metrics throughout the shift, ensuring operators are entering proper data.
• Lead/give direction to a team to achieve volume and yield targets.
• Support and coordinate the training of packaging associates to meet production goals.
• Coordinate downtime issues with support from onsite maintenance and engineering staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
• Other duties as requested.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 4 years of experience in production or 1 yr prior leadership/lead role.
• Must be able to use and read instruments, including rulers and micrometers.
• Perform mathematical calculations including percentages, multiplication, and division.
• Reliable, motivated, and good with people - professional with excellent attendance record.
• Must have adequate vision to inspect product for small defects and take appropriate corrective actions. 
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize appropriately.
• Comfortable standing/walking during 12-hour shifts.
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Operate a personal computer (PC) and software relevant to the job.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
