The Commodity Pricing Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day resale pricing and discounting structures across assigned commodity product lines within the SAP enterprise system. To ensure success as a Commodity Pricing Coordinator, you should possess sound knowledge of commodities and applicable markets within the oil and gas distribution business. An accomplished Commodity Pricing Coordinator is someone who can understand the relationship between vendor costs, supply chain processes and customer resale. The Coordinator will collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations Leadership and should possess confident communication and organizational skills to deliver timely and accurate pricing aligned with company strategy and profitability goals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Proactively maintain and load list pricing for assigned commodities across multiple channels and geographies. Coordinate with Supply Chain Leadership based upon specific product lines and/or supply chain disruptions to review commodities and make informed pricing decisions. Collaborate with Supply Chain Leadership and Buyers to assess cost-of-goods and optimize timing for price changes. Document list price changes for tracking and customer contract update purposes. Review and refine vendor price change letters, as needed. Regularly review new material set-ups for pricing strategy consistency and collaborate with the Content Team to reduce gaps in the process. Utilize pricing tools in order to identify and correct list price issues, incorrect commodity assignments, and potential commodity splitting. Assist other team members with list price maintenance, as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or economics is preferred. A minimum of two years' experience as a commodity or pricing analyst in a similar industry is preferred. Accomplished analytical skills along with advanced oral and written communication skills. Advanced MS Excel skills required. SAP and Power BI skills are preferred. Effectively and efficiently organize time and prioritize tasks. Must be meticulous/detail-oriented in various aspects of the role. Advanced ability to present pricing analysis reports and lead discussions with relevant stakeholders. Great attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and eager desire to learn. Understanding of various customer markets and/or product knowledge.
