Mission of the Role
As the Head of Sales & Business Development for the US, you will be the key architect of our expansion into the North American market from your base in the Silicon Valley area. Your primary mission is to build our US business from the ground up by generating revenue for our Seahorse SaaS platform and leading the business planning and sales of our VDPU Card and Server solutions to strategic Storage vendors and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). You will leverage your deep industry network to establish Dnotitia as a pivotal player, gather critical market intelligence, and forge the foundational opportunities that will drive our growth.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Dnotitia’s entry into the US market.
- Leverage an extensive network within the Database, Storage, AI, and Cloud industries to build strategic relationships with key partners, potential customers, and industry influencers.
- Identify, develop, and close foundational sales and partnership opportunities to build a strong business pipeline.
- Act as a key source of market intelligence, providing insights and feedback to internal product, engineering, and leadership teams to shape future strategy.
- Represent Dnotitia at major industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and establish a strong market presence.
- Define and build the sales and business development processes and, in the long term, recruit and lead a high-performing US-based team.
Basic Qualifications
- 10 years of senior-level experience in Sales or Business Development.
- Deep industry knowledge and professional background in the Database, Storage, AI, or Cloud sectors.
- A proven track record of successfully building a business or market from an early stage.
- An extensive and active professional network within the Silicon Valley technology community and related industries.
- Must be based in the Silicon Valley area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a startup environment and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Technical understanding of vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and the broader generative AI technology stack.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically to achieve ambitious goals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
