We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and support company’s commercial managed charging program, SmartCharge Commercial. This role focuses on downloading, reviewing, analyzing, and managing EV charging data to inform program design and operational decisions, and to meet regulatory requirements. This position involves highly repetitive tasks and requires exceptional attention to detail and organization. You will frequently troubleshoot data issues to ensure accuracy and consistency across large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Management
- Download and aggregate EV charging datasets from multiple sources (e.g., network service provider dashboard, charger-level, meter-level).
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal reporting standards.
- Data Analysis & Insights
- Extract and analyze EV charging data to identify trends in utilization, energy consumption, and charging behavior.
- Conduct trend analysis and develop load profiles and forecasts to support grid planning and managed charging programs.
- Apply statistical and visualization techniques to communicate data findings effectively.
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Collaborate with assistant program managers and external partners to refine data requirements and troubleshoot data inconsistencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python) and visualization platforms (Power BI).
- Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure and energy systems.
- Experience with large datasets and data cleaning techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with EV charging data and conducting trend analysis.
- Familiarity with EV telematics, charger-level, and meter-level data.
- Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of utility operations, managed charging programs, and demand response.
- Ability to interpret technical reports and apply findings to real-world scenarios.
- Comfortable with adopting and learning new technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with PowerQuery and PowerAutomate for advanced data transformation and automation.
Salary : $40 - $55
