DNC Facility Services is hiring Floor Technicians / Floor Care Technicians for summer projects specializing in strip and wax, VCT floor care, and commercial floor maintenance in schools and commercial buildings.
We are building a high-performing floor crew for our busiest season. If you have experience in floor stripping, waxing, buffing, or janitorial floor care — or are willing to learn — we want to hear from you.
Job Description
This position focuses on commercial floor care services, including:
- Stripping and waxing VCT floors
- Floor buffing and burnishing
- Operating floor machines (buffer, burnisher, auto scrubber)
- Deep cleaning and floor maintenance in commercial facilities
- Following proper chemical dilution and safety procedures
- Working as part of a janitorial / floor technician crew to complete large projects
This is a fast-paced, production-based role during summer months.
Schedule
- Seasonal (Summer floor projects)
- Full-time hours available
- Nights, weekends, and overtime may be required
Requirements
- Experience in floor care, strip and wax, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred
- Willingness to learn floor care systems and equipment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to work long hours and physical shifts
- Ability to lift equipment and be on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license preferred (for crew leads)
