Flooring Field Representative -- Full-Time

DMV Home Design | Northern Virginia / DMV Area

DMV Home Design is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and reliable Flooring Field Representative to join our team full-time.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people, developing relationships, and generating new business. A major part of this role will be visiting contractors, builders, designers, property managers, companies, and active job sites to introduce DMV Home Design, our flooring products and services, and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Visit residential and commercial job sites throughout the DMV area

* Visit local companies, contractors, builders, designers, and other potential business partners to introduce DMV Home Design and our flooring services

* Actively develop new business by identifying and approaching potential customers and referral partners

* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, property managers, designers, homeowners, and other industry professionals

* Meet with customers and provide professional service

* Take measurements and assess flooring needs

* Present flooring options and provide estimates

* Follow up with leads, potential customers, and business contacts

* Generate new leads and sales opportunities through in-person outreach, networking, and field visits

* Coordinate with our showroom, sales, and installation teams

* Maintain accurate customer and project information

* Represent DMV Home Design professionally and positively in the field

Qualifications

* Flooring, construction, home improvement, or sales experience preferred

* Business development, outside sales, or field sales experience is a plus

* Strong communication and customer-service skills

* Comfortable approaching businesses and introducing company services

* Comfortable working independently and managing a daily schedule

* Must be reliable, professional, outgoing, and motivated

* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

* Ability to travel throughout the DMV area

* Bilingual is a plus

* Previous flooring sales/estimating experience is a major plus
