Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and follow-up
• Respond to inquiries and guide potential clients through the booking process
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and event-related sales communications
• Manage leads, pipeline activity, and follow-up schedules using CRM software
• Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to execution
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process
• Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and business development efforts as needed

Requirements

• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or account management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability
• Comfortable with proactive sales efforts and lead follow-up
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts at once
• Must be comfortable working in person
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, events, hospitality, retail sales, or related industries is highly desirable
• Strong closing skills and confidence engaging clients
• Experience with upselling, account development, and business growth strategies
• Familiarity with product demos, sales presentations, or consultative selling is a plus
• Professional, polished, and highly motivated
• Self-starter with strong follow-through and attention to detail

Experience

• Prior experience in sales, hospitality sales, retail sales, customer-facing business development, or account coordination preferred
• Experience using CRM tools preferred
• Prior event or catering sales experience is a strong plus
