DMS Facility Services is currently searching for a Regional Engineering Manager for our Northern California operations. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead our operational teams and drive the success of our business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manages and administers programs involving electrical, mechanical and general maintenance, repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment, operation utilities (i.e. gas, electric, air-conditioning systems and water). Visually inspects quality of work, supervises staff and outside contractors in tasks according to performance and productivity standards. Plan, prepare and monitor special projects. Assign work orders to staff; monitor progress and results.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of facility maintenance staff - Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure efficient operation of facility equipment
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Manage projects related to facility improvements and upgrades
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper procedures and techniques
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues
Requirements:
-Minimum of 10 years of facility maintenance supervision
- Proven experience in commercial maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing
- Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
