What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rad Tech - C-Arm Specialist position at DMOS?
We are seeking a Rad Tech wanting to specialize their skills in C-Arm operation. You will support our Interventional Physiatry Clinic by operating a C-Arm for fluoro-guided injections and epidural spine injections. You will split your time between C-Arm procedures and EMG/NCV studies. Every day you will work alongside our clinical providers to create a comfortable patient experience, ensuring everyone is properly cared for and offering another step in their journey to healing. This full-time position is scheduled Monday - Friday 7:45AM-4:30PM (or until the last patient leaves).
To thrive in this role, you must have an active RTR Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa and care about the wellbeing of every patient you see. This position is a non-surgery position, within our Interventional Physiatry Clinic at our West Des Moines office.

- You’ll be on your feet most of the day greeting and preparing patients for their procedure. You are the patient's kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment.
- You will support IP Physicians by operating the C-Arm during procedures and assist with EMG/NCV studies.

What We’re Looking For
- An active Radiology Tech ARRT certification and an active Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to learn or perform specialized diagnostic skills using provided tools.
- You know how to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous. You know how important it is to listen, ask questions, and avoid interrupting your patient.
- Independent worker. You know how to keep yourself focused and when to ask for help.
