What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support continuous manufacturing operations
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
Ideal Background
We're interested in candidates with experience servicing or maintaining industrial equipment in environments such as:
- Steel processing
- Roll forming
- Wire & cable manufacturing
- Material handling systems
- Automated manufacturing
- Packaging or bottling
- Heavy industrial manufacturing
Equipment Experience
Experience with any combination of the following is considered an asset:
- Automated production equipment
- Conveyors and material handling systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Motors, drives, bearings and gearboxes
- PLC-controlled equipment
- Continuous production or processing equipment
Qualifications
- 5 years of industrial mechanical or field service experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on automated industrial equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Some leadership experience preferred or the desire to grow into a leadership role is an asset
