With locations in Warner Robins, GA; Byron, GA; and Boise, ID, we specialize in embedded systems development, hardware/software integration, and full lifecycle sustainment support. DMAero is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at our on-site location in Warner Robins, GA. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for electrical system architecture, design, and integration across aircraft and ground support programs
- Provide strategic oversight of avionics interfaces, control panels, radar subsystems, and mission equipment integrations
- Lead electrical modernization and modification initiatives for C-130 and related military aircraft platforms
- Direct development and review of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness designs, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Perform and approve advanced electrical analyses including power distribution, load analysis, signal integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC considerations
- Oversee development of Technical Data Packages (TDPs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), qualification documentation, and test procedures
- Lead system integration, prototype builds, verification testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis efforts
- Ensure technical compliance with applicable MIL-STDs, airworthiness requirements, and customer specifications
- Guide reverse engineering efforts and DMSMS mitigation strategies for legacy and obsolete electrical components
Qualifications
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America and be able to apply for a Secret clearance or actively hold one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated experience with aircraft electrical systems, avionics integration, or mission system modifications
- 10 years of experience in the defense industry or a relating field
