- Leadership: Manage a team of 5 people and oversee all aspects of logistics operations, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of goods.
- Inbound Transportation: Plan and coordinate inbound transportation of goods, focusing on cost-effectiveness and punctuality.
- Logistics Provider Management: Develop and maintain relationships with logistics providers, including carriers and customs brokers.
- Freight Quote Development: Create ad hoc freight quotes for various shipments, air, ocean, and domestic.
- Performance Metrics Analysis: Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, including on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory levels.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing logistics operations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years in supply chain and logistics, with 2 years working with customs and government agencies.
- Key Competencies: Ability to manage complex teams, advanced Excel skills, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, time management skills, and ability to manage multiple complex projects.
Salary and Benefits
