Job Description
The Audit Lead will be responsible for mentoring the Audit Specialist I, II, and III. The employee will also be responsible for handling internal and external communications regarding escalations and handling void requests. Job Responsibilities
- Mentor and train Audit Specialist I, II, III.
- Provide support to the Operations Manager/Director.
- Audit all BPA transaction types.
- Train on all BPA transaction types.
- Handle internal communications.
- Handle external/internal communication regarding BPA transactions and escalations.
- Handle void requests.
- Work closely with the field team and with the Inventory Lead.
- Maintain up to date record keeping.
- Prepare, ship and track BPO packages within time frames.
- Assist the inventory department with quarterly physical audits.
- Maintain a safe and hazard free working environment.
- Maintain the security of PI
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years dealership/title clerk experience to include but not limited to:
- All transaction types; new vehicle, used vehicle (CA & non-resident), transfer legal owner, renewals, duplicate title, duplicate title for auction o Dealership title and registration knowledge.
- Knowledge of CA DMV forms.
- Ability to read a vehicle record (KSR/Inquiry) effectively.
- Knowledge of CA DMV registration policies for all transaction types.
- Utilization of a BPA program (FLSP program).
- Experience with BPA non-critical and critical errors.
- Experience with correcting BPA non-critical and critical errors.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience with training and mentoring others.
- General computer skills.
- Position may require a stationary position 90% of the time.
- Position may require lifting 30lbs or more.
- Working hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
- Occasional overtime may be necessary.
- Complete DLRacademy BPA certification I, II, and III training.
- Complete DLRacademy DMV fundamental certification training.
- Complete DLRdmv Mentor Certification.
