Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to keep surfaces looking pristine
- Maintain cleanliness by emptying trash receptacles, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces regularly
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and touch-up painting in residential or commercial settings
- Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Support industrial cleaning projects as needed, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Keep detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
