Safety Driver

We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Safety Drivers to support the testing and development of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technology. This is an exciting opportunity for safety-focused professionals who enjoy driving, technology, and working in a fast-paced innovation environment.

As a Safety Driver, you will play a critical role in supporting autonomous vehicle operations by monitoring vehicle performance, collecting operational data, and ensuring safe vehicle operation during testing. This position is ideal for individuals with excellent driving skills, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to safety.

Job Details

✅ Operate autonomous test vehicles safely and legally

✅ Monitor vehicle performance during testing

✅ Collect operational and environmental data

✅ Prepare vehicles daily for testing operations

✅ Conduct vehicle safety inspections and readiness checks

✅ Complete detailed reports and documentation

✅ Interact professionally with riders, engineers, and operations teams

✅ Provide feedback to support system improvements

✅ Remain alert and prepared for unexpected roadway situations

✅ Maintain strict safety standards at all times

Available Schedules

✅ Tuesday – Saturday

• 8 hours per day
• 40 hours per week

✅ Friday – Monday

• 10 hours per day
• 40 hours per week

Available Shifts

Morning Shifts

✅ 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Friday–Monday)

✅ 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Tuesday–Saturday)

✅ 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Tuesday–Saturday)

✅ 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Tuesday–Saturday)

Afternoon & Evening Shifts

✅ 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Friday–Monday)

✅ 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (Tuesday–Saturday)

✅ 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Tuesday–Saturday)

Requirements

✅ Valid U.S. driver's license for at least 3 years

✅ Clean driving record

✅ No DUI, drug, or alcohol-related offenses within the past 5 years

✅ Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices

✅ Strong attention to detail

✅ Ability to remain focused and alert for extended periods

✅ Excellent communication skills

✅ Willingness to work in varying weather and road conditions

✅ Professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

✅ Autonomous vehicle experience

✅ Defensive driving or advanced driving training

✅ Motorsport or performance driving experience

✅ Knowledge of vehicle systems and controls

✅ Technical troubleshooting experience
