Role Description The Welder - Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Parker, CO. This position involves performing MIG welding on various metals, fabricating components according to drawings or measurements, and installing finished products at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, fitting and assembling structures, and ensuring welds meet quality and safety standards. The Welder - Installer will also operate tools and equipment, perform basic maintenance on machines, and follow all safety protocols and job site procedures. The role requires working both in the shop and in the field, collaborating with team members, and interacting professionally with customers as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong welding skills and metal fabrication experience, including cutting, grinding, and fitting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements for accurate fabrication and installation.
- Experience with installation work, including field measurements, alignment, anchoring, and use of hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines, with a consistent focus on safe work practices and PPE use.
- Physical ability to lift materials, work at heights or in varied positions, and perform tasks in outdoor and shop environments.
- Effective communication skills, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous welding certifications or technical training are preferred; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are beneficial.
- Experience in construction, metal fabrication, or a related trade is a plus.
