Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Room and Prepare patients for the health care visit
- Take vitals, update patient history
- Assist with Pap Smears and Well Women Exams
- Educate patients by providing medication information and instructions; answering questions
- Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Must be Certified or Registered
- Previous OB/GYN experience needed
- Reliability - previous work history/longevity will be taken into consideration
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment in a very busy OB/GYN office
- Should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology
- Great customer service skills/bedside manner
- Good written/verbal communication skills
- Phone skills and computer knowledge
Medical Assistant Hours:
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation:
- $17 per hour depending on experience and discussed in the interview.
