SAP S/4HANA Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. This position will manage the local implementation from project initiation through requirements gathering, system implementation, testing, training, deployment, go-live, and post-production support.

The Project Manager will work closely with business leaders, functional teams, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure the SAP S/4HANA implementation is delivered within scope, budget, timeline, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation activities from project initiation through post-go-live support
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, milestones, and critical path activities
• Establish project governance, communication plans, reporting structures, and escalation processes
• Coordinate SAP functional and technical workstreams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality
• Partner with executive sponsors, business leaders, IT teams, functional teams, and external SAP implementation partners
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide executive-level project updates
• Manage project scope, change requests, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project management best practices
• Oversee system integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data readiness, and deployment planning
• Coordinate cutover activities and go-live readiness assessments
• Partner with change management teams on user training, communication, adoption, and organizational readiness
• Lead post-go-live stabilization and transition to operational support teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or 4 years of SAP experience in lieu of a degree
• 2 years of project management experience, including enterprise ERP implementations
• 2 years of SAP/ERP experience
• Experience supporting or leading SAP S/4HANA implementations or ERP transformation projects
• Experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMI, Agile, Hybrid, and/or Waterfall
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and vendor relationships
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on location

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of project management experience, including enterprise ERP implementations
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Knowledge of SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, and/or TM
• Experience leading global or multi-site SAP implementations
• Familiarity with data migration, system integrations, testing strategies, cutover, and change management
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology
