A growing specialty metals manufacturer is seeking a Plant Metallurgist to support materials analysis, process development, and quality systems in a fast-paced production environment.
🔧 Responsibilities:
• Conduct metallurgical testing and material analysis
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with production teams to solve material challenges
• Maintain laboratory equipment and testing accuracy
• Support ISO9001 / AS9100 quality systems
✅ Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field
• 2 years of metallurgical or materials testing experience
• Experience with microscopy, hardness, and tensile testing
• Strong analytical and communication skills
⭐ Preferred:
• Stainless steel and hot working experience
• Familiarity with quality management systems
